#IcebreakerChallenge: Camp Covington Edition

Tamya Hayes Williams, incoming fifth grade student at John G. Carlisle Elementary School, did not hold back when presented with the #IcebreakerChallenge. She enjoys Camp Covington because "we keep it fun but still do school work." Very focused on her education, Tamya wants to become a therapist to help others. Michael Wesson, camp coordinator, says Tamya is a "positive and friendly leader who enjoys helping others." Learn about Tamya in the Q&A:

Q. The zombie apocalypse is coming; who are three people you want on your team?
A. Definitely my mom, my friend Simone, and the Little Mermaid.

Q. If you were a wrestler, what would be your entrance theme song?
A. You know that song [making stomping sound with her feet and singing lyrics to "We Will Rock You" by Queen].

Q. Have you ever been told you look like someone famous?
A. Yes, Rihanna, but I don't see it.

Q. If you had your own late night talk show, who would be your first guest?
A. Snoop Dogg. I love his music.

Q. You have to sing karaoke, what song do you pick?
A. Nothing. That's not my style.

Q. If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A. Seafood! I would have crab and crawfish every day.

Q. Would you rather explore outer space or the bottom of the ocean?
A. I saw what happened to the people in that sub. I'll take friends and go with NASA to space. We can stick a flag on a planet.

Q. If you could switch lives with anyone for a day, who would it be?
A. North West. She so famous. I need that...her whipping her ponytail.

Q. If you were invisible for a day, what would you do?
A. I'd make mischief.

Q. If you were left on a deserted island with either your worst enemy or no one, which would you choose?
A. I'm by myself. Goodbye.

Q. If aliens landed on earth tomorrow and offered to take you home with them, would you go?
A. It depends, do they have seafood?

Q. What kind of car would you like to drive when you turn 16?
A. I want a blue Jeep. I'm going to name her Oreo.

Follow-up Q. Wait. Why Oreo if the car is blue?
Follow-up A. Because I like Oreos.

Q. What's one job you would never do?
A. A teacher because they are underpaid.

Q. What is your favorite book?
A. I like to read Dork Diaries. I like to read so you don't have to deal with real-life drama.

Q. If you were to write a book, what kind would it be?
A. I would write a book about my life and how things can be hard. I would narrate it and call it My Perspective.
